  • Data Governance Frameworks

    We are seeking a highly skilled Data Governance Specialist to design and implement robust data governance frameworks, policies, and procedures to govern master data creation, maintenance, and usage. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of data governance principles and methodologies, and experience working with business stakeholders to define data ownership, stewardship, and accountability roles within an organization.

  • Data Quality Assurance and Collaboration

    As a Master Data Management Architect, you will be responsible for ensuring the accuracy, completeness, and reliability of data used for MDM. You will work closely with IT teams and business stakeholders to address data quality issues through cleansing, validation, and verification processes. Additionally, you will develop reports and dashboards to measure and track data quality patterns, and serve as a subject matter expert on MDM principles and best practices.

  • Documentation and Communication

    The Business Data Strategist will document data models, processes, governance frameworks, and analytical findings to ensure transparency and knowledge sharing. You will also communicate complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders, and display deep intellectual curiosity, creativity, and commitment to learning to solve critical business problems.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in economics, statistics, math, or related business field; master's preferred
  • Minimum of 2+ years of experience in data analysis or data architecture
  • At least one year of experience using data quality and profiling tools such as Information Steward or Reltio (MDM)
  • Experience with Snowflake and Advanced SQL; building large data sets across disparate sources required
  • Experience with statistical programming languages required (Python, R)
  • Understanding MDM concepts, including data modelling, governance, quality management, and integration.
  • Ability to think conceptually and creatively about problems and solutions
  • Strong interpersonal communication skills, verbal and written, are required due to the nature and level of interaction with senior management.
  • Demonstrated ability to prioritize workload and ability to manage multiple projects while meeting deadlines.
