Leading Data Analyst

MUFG Bank, a global financial institution, is seeking an experienced Quantitative Analyst to join its team. As a key member of the analytics group, you will play a vital role in developing and maintaining stress testing predictive regression models and other forecasting methodologies.
The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in mathematics and statistics, with experience in statistical software (SAS, SQL, R) and Excel skills. They will also have a basic understanding of accounting and finance principles.
This role requires the ability to interpret complex statistical and mathematical testing results, ensuring that any updates to models and calculators adhere to internal risk management guidelines and regulations.
In addition to data analysis, this position involves working closely with the front office desk to ensure alignment of data-driven insights with business intuition. Other responsibilities include quarterly and annually capital planning production processes and ad-hoc capital analysis reports.
