Job Title: Intermediate Quality Assurance Specialist

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled Intermediate Quality Assurance Specialist to join our team in Chennai, Tamil Nādu, India. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing and executing test automation frameworks and test automation suites.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and execute test automation frameworks and test automation suites.
  • Evaluate and maintain existing manual and automated test cases & procedures.
  • Create comprehensive E2E test cases with Java /Selenium /restsharp/ ActiveMQ/ WMQ/ Kafka.
  • Perform load and stress tests using enterprise level test automation tools.
  • Interpret test results and prepare comprehensive test reports.
  • Participate in project-wide reviews of requirements, system architecture and detailed design documents.
  • Act as key point of contact for other test engineers with automation needs.
  • Manage and maintain physical, virtualized and simulated test environments.
  • Identify and resolve issues that arise when integrating the application software with other software components.
  • Assist in reviewing and determining amount of code coverage of unit tests.

Requirements:

  • 3 + years of experience using Selenium / Java / Rest Assured test automation tools.
  • Core programming skills in Java.
  • Familiar with messaging queues- ActiveMQ/ WMQ/ Kafka.
  • Understand SAFe (Scaled Agile Framework) practices, API calls, JSON objects, Google PubSub and microservice architecture using GKE.
  • Collaborate with development teams to validate API functionality, data integrity, and integration points within GCP environments.
  • Identify and investigate root cause for issues using test APIs and Google Cloud logging in lower environments.
  • Report bugs, issues, and potential improvements, ensuring timely resolution and effective communication with product owners.
  • Automate API testing processes to ensure continuous testing and integration.
  • Develop and maintain automated test scripts and frameworks using tools like Selenium or other relevant automation frameworks.
  • Utilize Ready API Pro (SoapUI Pro) to create, maintain, and execute API functional test suites.
  • Create, utilize, and maintain test/data files using a Git repository.
  • Experience in at least one of the performance testing tools (Prefer JMeter or ReadyAPI-LoadUI).
