About the Role

We are seeking a skilled professional to design, develop, and maintain high-performance databases for storing and retrieving time-series financial data.

Main Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement database schemas for efficient data storage and retrieval.
  • Create and optimize ETL processes for ingesting real-time market data from various sources.
  • Ensure data integrity, consistency, and accuracy across all databases.
API Development and Integration
  • Design and implement APIs for programmatic access to historical and real-time market data.
  • Implement data retrieval services with high throughput and low-latency queries.
  • Collaborate with developers to integrate database services with trading, analytics, and visualization tools.
Database Performance and Scalability
  • Architect and manage databases capable of handling high write and read loads associated with tick-by-tick data.
  • Implement performance tuning techniques, including indexing, query optimization, and caching strategies.
System Maintenance and Monitoring
  • Monitor database performance, conduct regular health checks, and troubleshoot issues in a fast-paced environment.
  • Implement backup, disaster recovery, and high-availability solutions.
