Visual Design Specialist

As a Visual Design Specialist, you will be responsible for creating impactful visual content that resonates with audiences and drives results. This includes designing graphics for various platforms such as social media, websites, email campaigns, digital ads, and brochures.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Design Creation: Develop visually appealing designs that meet brand guidelines and project-specific requirements.
  • Tool Mastery: Work proficiently with Adobe Creative Suite, Figma, and other industry-standard tools.
  • Video Editing and Motion Graphics: Assist with video editing tasks such as trimming, adding transitions, and creating animations using Adobe Premiere Pro and After Effects.
  • Motion Graphic Projects: Contribute to motion graphic projects for dynamic social media campaigns.
  • Creative Collaboration: Collaborate with marketers, writers, and designers to brainstorm ideas and execute projects.
  • Team Participation: Participate actively in team meetings, offering creative input and new perspectives.
  • Brand Consistency: Maintain consistent branding across all digital and print materials, from logo placement to color schemes.
  • Brand Guidelines: Support building brand guidelines to ensure uniformity in visual representation.
  • Campaign Design: Assist in creating social media banners, email headers, infographics, and ad creatives for marketing campaigns.
  • Design Innovation: Experiment with trending design styles to keep campaigns fresh and appealing.
  • Research and Inspiration: Conduct market research to stay updated on industry trends, competitor designs, and evolving aesthetics.
  • Mood Boards: Contribute to mood boards and visual concepts that set the tone for creative projects.
  • UX and Digital Design: Learn to design user-friendly interfaces that enhance the user experience.
  • Website Optimization: Assist with optimizing website visuals, layouts, and mobile-friendly content.
  • Quality Assurance: Review designs to ensure accuracy, alignment, and quality.
  • Issue Resolution: Identify and resolve minor issues before submission.
What You'll Learn:
  • Graphic Design Fundamentals: Practical knowledge of graphic design principles, including color theory, typography, and layout techniques.
  • Design Tools: Expertise in tools like Adobe Creative Suite, Figma, and basic exposure to UI/UX design concepts.
  • Project Management: How to manage and execute end-to-end design projects for digital and print platforms.
  • Marketing Influence: Understanding of how marketing and branding influence design.
  • Time Management: The importance of time management and teamwork in meeting project deadlines.

Skill Requirements: Skillful candidates will have a basic knowledge of design tools such as Adobe Creative Suite, Canva, or Figma. Creativity and Attention to Detail: Creativity and a strong eye for detail are also essential. Strong communication skills for collaborating with diverse teams are required along with a proactive approach to learning and problem-solving. Prior experience or coursework in graphic design is a plus but not mandatory.
