**Job Title:** Academic Operations Manager for Primary Education

**Location:** Iris Educare Limited

**Salary:** $50,000 - $70,000 per annum

Job Description:

The Academic Operations Manager for Primary Education is responsible for overseeing the academic operations of our primary section (Grades 1-5). This role ensures academic excellence, consistency, and continuity by coordinating curriculum implementation, teacher support, student progress monitoring, and administrative tasks.

Key Responsibilities:

Academic Coordination (40%):

• Implement curriculum guidelines and standards to ensure alignment with regulatory requirements.

• Coordinate lesson planning, assessments, and evaluations to maintain academic excellence.

• Monitor teacher performance and provide constructive feedback to improve teaching practices.

• Develop and maintain academic calendars to ensure seamless delivery of curricula.

• Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and educational standards.

Teacher Support (30%):

• Provide training, guidance, and mentorship to teachers to enhance their professional development.

• Conduct regular teacher meetings and workshops to foster collaborative teaching practices.

• Support teacher professional development through coaching and mentoring.

• Address teacher concerns and issues promptly to maintain a positive work environment.

Student Support (20%):

• Monitor student progress and performance to identify areas for improvement.

• Identify and address learning difficulties through targeted interventions and support.

• Coordinate student assessments and evaluations to measure academic achievement.

• Support student counseling and well-being initiatives to promote emotional intelligence.

• Communicate effectively with parents/guardians to keep them informed of student progress.

Administrative Tasks (10%):

• Manage academic records and databases to ensure accurate tracking of student information.

• Coordinate events, workshops, and conferences to enhance teacher and student learning experiences.

• Develop and manage budgets to allocate resources effectively.

• Maintain communication with parents, teachers, and administrators to ensure seamless collaboration.

• Prepare reports and analyses to inform strategic decision-making.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's/Master's degree in Education or a related field.

• 3+ years teaching or academic coordination experience.

• Strong knowledge of primary curriculum and pedagogy.

• Excellent communication, leadership, and organizational skills.

• Ability to work collaboratively and build strong relationships with teachers and students.
