Cloud Security Professional

As a Cloud Security Engineer, you will be responsible for ensuring the security and integrity of cloud-based infrastructure.

  • Developing robust security controls and measures across the security assurance lifecycle, including prevent, detect, respond, and remediate controls.
  • Configuring public cloud native security tooling and capabilities with a focus on organizational policies, VPC SC, IAM policies, and APIs.
  • Experience with Cloud Security Posture Management (CSPM) 3rd party tools such as Wiz, Prisma, Check Point CloudGuard, etc.
  • Policy-as-code (Rego) and OPA platform expertise.
  • Designing and configuring event-driven serverless-based security controls in Azure, AWS, and Google Cloud Functions.
  • Strong understanding of DevOps processes and workflows.
  • Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tooling expertise, preferably Terraform.
  • Familiarity with logging and data pipeline concepts and architectures in cloud.
  • Scripting languages such as PowerShell or Python or Bash or Go.

**Key Responsibilities:**

  • Designing and implementing secure cloud architecture.
  • Developing and maintaining security controls and measures.
  • Collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration of security features.
  • Providing expert-level guidance on cloud security best practices and compliance requirements.

**Requirements:**

  • 5+ years of experience in software engineering and/or cloud platform engineering.
  • Deep understanding of cloud security risks and Shared Responsibility Model.
  • Excellent communication, written, and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to articulate complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
  • Practical experience in designing and configuring CICD pipelines, GitHub Actions, and Jenkins.
  • Experience with ITSM and risk control frameworks.
