Job Description:

We are seeking a seasoned WordPress developer to contribute to our team.

This role demands expertise in developing, implementing, and maintaining WordPress-based websites for clients. The ideal candidate should possess a profound understanding of WordPress development best practices, as well as proficiency in HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and PHP.

Responsibilities include:

  • Developing custom WordPress themes and plugins based on client specifications
  • Customizing existing WordPress themes and plugins to meet project requirements
  • Collaborating with design and development teams to ensure seamless integration of front-end and back-end functionality
  • Conducting quality assurance testing to identify and resolve issues before deployment
  • Providing ongoing support and maintenance for WordPress websites, including troubleshooting and bug fixes

The ideal candidate will have experience in speed optimization techniques, staying up-to-date on the latest WordPress trends, technologies, and best practices.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

We require candidates with 3-5 years of experience in WordPress development, proficiency in HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and PHP, and a strong understanding of WordPress architecture, themes, and plugins.

Familiarity with version control systems (e.g., Git) is a plus, as well as experience with responsive design principles and cross-browser compatibility.

  • Experience with custom coding in WordPress, including developing custom functionality, hooks, and filters
  • Proficiency in PHP and MySQL for customizing WordPress functionality beyond standard themes and plugins
  • Ability to troubleshoot and debug custom code efficiently
