Job Title: Technical Superintendent

The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day technical operations of our vessels, ensuring their seaworthiness and compliance with international regulations.

Duties and Responsibilities:
  • Oversee vessel reports and analyse performance/defects.
  • Monitor PMS compliance and authenticity.
  • Prepare annual budgets and control operating costs.
  • Maintain validity of all certification & documentation.
  • Coordinate procurement of spares and critical equipment.
  • Plan and supervise dry-docking, repairs, technical projects.
  • Support onboard crew with technical guidance and training.
Requirements:
  • 10-12 years in the shipping industry on large sea-going vessels.
  • Prefer at least 2 years of shore experience as Superintendent.
  • Strong understanding of TMSA requirements.
  • Experience of having worked on cranes and grabs (for bulk carriers).
  • Promote a strong safety culture on board and in technical operations.
