We are seeking an experienced Polymer Synthesis Specialist to join our research team.

About the Role:

The successful candidate will be responsible for designing, synthesizing, and characterizing organic compounds for various applications. This will involve using theoretical and practical knowledge of organic chemistry principles and techniques to develop innovative solutions and address project challenges.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and execute polymer synthesis routes to target compounds.
  • Purify and characterize organic molecules using analytical techniques such as NMR, HPLC, GC-MS, and IR spectroscopy.
  • Analyze and interpret experimental data to troubleshoot reactions and optimize synthetic routes.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop innovative solutions and address project challenges.
  • Maintain accurate records of experimental procedures, results, and observations.
  • Stay current with literature and technological advancements in organic chemistry.

Requirements:

  • A PhD or Master's degree in organic chemistry or a related field, or evidence of exceptional ability.
  • 1-2+ years of industrial experience preferred.
  • Theoretical and practical knowledge of organic chemistry principles and techniques.
