About This Opportunity

This is a senior leadership role responsible for leading the internal audit department. The Head of Internal Audit will play a critical part in maintaining strong financial governance and ensuring compliance with all relevant laws, regulations and policies.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Developing Innovative Solutions: Design and implement innovative solutions to address complex business challenges and enhance financial performance.
  • Financial Planning and Management: Plan, organize, and manage complex financial situations across units, ensuring timely and cost-effective implementation.
  • Business Analysis: Analyze business processes to identify core issues and opportunities for improvement, and develop strategic recommendations to address them.
  • Closing and Reporting: Perform monthly closing of books of accounts and prepare profitability statements for senior management review, as well as create and monitor budgets and forecasts (weekly, monthly, and quarterly).
  • Internal Controls: Design, implement, and monitor internal controls and Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) to ensure compliance and efficiency.
  • Audit and Compliance: Head the internal audit department, implementing audit tools to improve efficiencies, and ensure compliance with corporate policies, accounting standards, and local tax regulations.

Required Qualifications and Skills:

  • Education: CA or MBA in Accounting/Finance/Business Administration.
  • Experience: Minimum 20 years of experience in auditing, financial analysis, and compliance.
  • Skills: Proficiency in financial analysis, auditing procedures, financial planning, reporting, and audit tools, as well as advanced skills in Microsoft Excel.
  • Personal Qualities: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, willingness to conduct surprise audits and travel to overseas locations when required.
