Senior QA Automation Engineer

 

  • Develop and implement automation test cases using Selenium WebDriver, ensuring high-quality releases across web and mobile platforms.
  • Create reliable and scalable test scripts in Java, Python, or JavaScript to automate repetitive tasks.
  • Enhance and maintain test frameworks (TestNG, JUnit, PyTest, etc.) for efficient test execution.
  • Execute tests across browsers and platforms using cloud infrastructure like TestGrid.
  • Integrate test automation into CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins, GitHub Actions, etc.) for seamless deployment.
  • Perform API automation testing using tools like Postman or Rest Assured.
  • Identify bugs, document issues, and verify fixes through thorough testing.
  • Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to improve test strategy and coverage.

Essential Skills:

  • 2–5 years of experience in QA automation with Selenium.
  • Proficient in Java, Python, or JavaScript programming languages.
  • Familiarity with CI/CD, Git, and Agile development environments.
  • Solid knowledge of automated testing principles, SDLC, and QA best practices.
  • Experience running tests using TestGrid in the cloud or similar platforms.

Nice to Have:

  • Experience with Appium for mobile test automation.
  • Exposure to BDD frameworks (Cucumber, Behave).
  • Familiarity with Docker, cloud environments, or containerized test execution.
