About the Role:

The ideal candidate will be responsible for leading advanced research projects in Computer Science Engineering. This role involves driving high-impact research initiatives, mentoring research scholars, and contributing to a university's mission of research excellence.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Drive and coordinate cutting-edge research projects in Computer Science Engineering.
  • Publish original research in top-tier international journals and present at premier conferences.
  • Mentor PhD scholars and research students, guiding their research work and development.
  • Fundraise through grants, consultancy, and collaboration with industry partners.
  • Catalyze interdisciplinary research and foster collaborations within the institution and external organizations.
  • Organize workshops, seminars, and conferences to promote research culture.
  • Provide expert advice on research strategy, development, and policy within the department and university.
  • Contribute to academic leadership and participate in research-focused committees and initiatives.

Requirements:

  • PhD in Computer Science Engineering or a closely related field from a recognized institution.
  • A minimum of 15-20 years of experience in research, teaching, or industry.
  • Demonstrated excellence in research through publications in reputable journals and conferences.
  • A proven track record of leading large-scale research projects and securing funding.
  • Experience in supervising doctoral research scholars.
  • Strong expertise in key areas such as Artificial Intelligence, Machine Learning, Data Science, Cybersecurity, Software Engineering, or related fields.
  • Excellent communication, leadership, and collaboration skills.
