Job Title: Head Electrical Maintenance Professional

This role oversees the electrical maintenance activities within a plant, ensuring they are carried out safely and efficiently. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in Cold Rolling Mill Electrical Maintenance and a Bachelor of Engineering – Electrical or Instrumentation degree.


Key Responsibilities:

  1. Maintenance Activities Management:
  • Develops and implements detailed maintenance procedures to ensure timely completion of tasks.
  • Monitors performance and maintenance costs for mechanical equipment, providing recommendations for improvement.
  • Suggests alternative maintenance frequencies based on equipment history or regular monitoring surveys.
Stores Consumables Management:
  • Evaluates requirements for new equipment or major repairs, recommending optimal solutions.
  • Ensures adequate material availability and quality, aligning with required standards and specifications.
5S & Safety:
  • Fosters a culture of 5S activities on the shop floor, promoting a safe working environment.
  • Ensures proper use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) and work-specific safety gear by all employees.
Innovation, Automation & Continuous Improvement:
  • Drives continuous improvement projects to enhance Overall Equipment Effectiveness (OEE) through data analysis.
  • Analyzes quality-related issues and suggests changes/modifications in production processes.
People Management:
  • Timely completion of departmental performance reviews and skill assessments.
  • Promotes employee engagement activities and encourages team members' participation.
