Job Overview

The Production Engineer plays a pivotal role in ensuring the successful execution of production projects.

Key Responsibilities
  • Strategize and implement production plans to meet predetermined targets.
  • Optimize resource allocation, including manpower, equipment, materials, and finances, to boost efficiency and productivity.
  • Regularly monitor production progress to ensure timely project completion.
  • Enforce quality control standards through regular inspections and tests to guarantee adherence to set benchmarks.
  • Maintain safe working environments by implementing and enforcing safety policies and procedures.
  • Manage inventory levels of raw materials, work-in-progress goods, and finished products to prevent production disruptions.
Required Skills & Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Production Engineering, or a related field.
  • A minimum of 3-15 years of experience in rail industry wagon manufacturing.
  • Proficiency in computer software programs like Microsoft Office and ERP systems.
  • In-depth knowledge of production processes, including welding, assembly, and testing.
