Mobile Automation Engineer

We are looking for a skilled Mobile Automation Engineer to join our team. As a key member of our engineering group, you will design and develop automated test scripts for mobile apps using WebDriverIO and Mocha/Chai.

Job Description:

The successful candidate will have 5-10 years of experience in mobile automation testing with a strong background in NodeJS, JavaScript, WebDriverIO, Mocha/Chai, and Page Object Model. Experience with Cucumber (BDD) is also highly valued.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and maintain automated test scripts for mobile apps using WebDriverIO and Mocha/Chai.
  • Design test frameworks using Page Objects and Cucumber for BDD.
  • Integrate automation into CI/CD workflows; collaborate with development and QA teams.
  • Debug and resolve automation issues; analyze test results and defect trends.
  • Continuously improve automation processes and maintain clear test documentation.
Requirements:
  • Proficiency in NodeJS, JavaScript, WebDriverIO, Mocha/Chai, and test assertions.
  • Experience with BDD tools (Cucumber).
  • Strong knowledge of Docker and CI/CD tools.
  • Excellent analytical, communication, and collaboration skills.
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
Nice to Have:
  • Exposure to performance and security testing.
  • Familiarity with cloud-based testing platforms.
  • Testing certifications (ISTQB, etc.).
  • Experience with additional automation tools or mobile testing solutions.
