Looking for a skilled Backend Engineer to join our team

About the Role

This is an exciting opportunity to work on server-side systems and APIs using Go and Python. As a Backend Engineer, you will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining high-quality, scalable software solutions.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Owning design, implementation, and maintenance of server-side services and APIs.
  • Delivering production-grade, well-tested, and maintainable code that supports a scalable architecture.
  • Making pragmatic system design decisions and implementing sensible defaults and 'privacy by design.'
  • Building resilient data access layers and working with PostgreSQL, Redis (or equivalent) for transactional and caching needs.
  • Collaborating with frontend, data, and product teams to translate product requirements into technically sound solutions.
Mandatory Skills:
  • Practical experience with Go (Golang), including multiple shipped services or components.
  • Production experience building backend services, scripts, or data pipelines in Python.
  • APIs & Services: Designed and delivered RESTful and/or gRPC APIs.
  • Databases: Strong SQL skills (Postgres preferred).
  • Testing & CI/CD: Unit/integration testing, automated pipelines, and release discipline.
