Software Development Engineer for Testing

Job DescriptionWe are seeking a skilled Software Development Engineer for Testing to join our team. As a key member of our QA team, you will be responsible for ensuring the high-quality delivery of our software applications, web platforms, and APIs.
Key Responsibilities:- Perform thorough manual and automated testing of applications, web platforms, and APIs to ensure high-quality software delivery.
- Apply sound knowledge of testing and automating tests at different layers of the application.
- Utilize observability tools like Grafana to monitor metrics, analyze system performance, and ensure reliability.
- Write and execute queries in databases such as MongoDB and MySQL to validate data integrity and support testing activities.
- Write clean, maintainable code in Java or JavaScript for developing and maintaining automation scripts.
- Utilize tools like Selenium, Appium, Cucumber BDD, TestNG, Maven/Gradle to design, develop, and execute automated tests.
- Work with CI/CD tools like Jenkins, GitLab, etc., to integrate automated tests into the build and deployment pipelines.
- Collaborate closely with developers, product managers, and other QA team members to understand requirements and deliver high-quality software.
- Contribute to the improvement of testing processes, tools, and methodologies.
- 1-3 years of professional experience in software testing, both manual and automation.
- Strong understanding of manual and automated testing methodologies and practices.
- Expertise in using observability tools like Grafana for monitoring and analyzing metrics.
- Ability to write and execute queries in MongoDB and MySQL databases.
- Proficient in writing clean code in Java or JavaScript.
- Good understanding and hands-on experience with tools like Selenium, Appium, Cucumber BDD.
- Familiarity with CI/CD tools such as Jenkins, GitLab, etc.
- Excellent problem-solving skills, attention to detail, strong communication skills, and the ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
