Technical Support Specialist Job Description

As a Technical Support Specialist, you will be responsible for ensuring the optimal performance of network systems and resolving technical issues in a timely manner. You will work closely with customers, ISPs, and other AT&T support centers to provide seamless service.

The key responsibilities of this role include:

  • Monitoring network performance 24/7 to meet Service Level expectations
  • Providing technical support and troubleshooting network platform issues, including alarm and KPI monitoring
  • Investigating and diagnosing network issues, triaging, and communicating event status and coordinating root cause analysis
  • Mitigating remediate complex technology fault conditions spanning multiple production platforms and environments
  • Proactively monitoring and maintaining system configurations to achieve designed performance and reliability levels using key performance indicators (KPIs)

You will also be responsible for articulating well with customers' technical and management staff on network issues, such as fault reporting, status updating, and handling escalation. Additionally, you will act as a single point of contact (SPOC) to AT&T customers for problem reporting, taking care of incoming calls from AT&T customers, ISPs, and counterparts of other AT&T Centers.
