Job Title

The Role of a Database Administrator is multifaceted, involving database management, performance optimization and ensuring the overall security and integrity of an organization's data.

We are seeking a skilled Junior Database Administrator with 1–2 years of hands-on experience in managing relational databases. The ideal candidate will be proactive in supporting database performance, availability, and security while assisting in maintenance tasks such as backups, restores, and monitoring.

  • Strong knowledge of RDBMS (Relational Database Management Systems) and database concepts.
  • Proficient in writing complex SQL queries, stored procedures, user-defined functions, and triggers.
  • Good understanding of the ETL (Extract, Transform, Load) process.
  • Hands-on experience with SSIS (SQL Server Integration Services) and SSRS (SQL Server Reporting Services).
  • Experience in creating and managing SQL Server Agent jobs.
  • Ability to perform database performance tuning and optimization to improve efficiency of slow-running queries and processes.
  • Experience with backup and recovery strategies, including restore operations and disaster recovery planning.
