About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Cloud Architect to join our team in Hyderabad. This is a hybrid role that offers the perfect blend of technical challenges and collaboration opportunities.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide technical leadership and mentorship to team members, ensuring they have the skills and expertise needed to succeed in their roles.
  • Liaise with multiple teams to steer projects from inception to successful delivery, driving business value and meeting stakeholder expectations.
  • Contribute to financial planning and budgeting, providing input on department or project budgets, capital expenditures, and other cost/resource estimates as requested.
  • Identify opportunities to enhance service delivery processes, implementing improvements that drive efficiency and effectiveness.

Delivering Technology Solutions

  • Perform complex quantitative and qualitative analyses to inform service delivery process decisions and drive business outcomes.
  • Facilitate achievement of expected deliverables and obligations of Services Providers, ensuring timely and high-quality results.
  • Validate completeness of requirements prior to Service Provider solutioning, ensuring alignment with business needs.
  • Ensure all projects follow defined development and business case processes, promoting consistency and best practices.
  • Coordinate with Application Delivery and Infrastructure teams for deployment and production support activities, ensuring seamless execution.
  • Provide consultation for routine and complex systems development, offering expert guidance and support.
  • Monitor and report on service levels, providing early warning to stakeholders regarding degraded or missed service levels.

IT Governance and Risk Management

  • Adhere to defined IT standards and processes, including IT Governance, SM&G, Architecture, and other relevant frameworks.
  • Maintain a balanced approach to business and operational risk, identifying and mitigating potential threats.
  • Evaluate risks and escalate them to the appropriate channels when necessary, ensuring effective issue resolution.
  • Follow defined project management standards and processes, ensuring consistency and quality across all projects.

Requirements and Qualifications

  • Self-motivated and results-driven, with a passion for learning and growth, demonstrating a commitment to ongoing professional development.
  • Excellent written communication skills, with the ability to craft clear, concise messages that engage and inform various stakeholders.
  • Experience with modern front-end or back-end web technologies and frameworks, showcasing proficiency in relevant tools and platforms.
  • Knowledge of build processes for node.js applications, with a solid understanding of software development lifecycle principles.
  • Understanding of Agile (SCRUM) Process, with experience working with automated testing frameworks like Cucumber or Karate.
  • 2+ years creating test cases for APIs, GraphQL or REST, demonstrating a strong grasp of software testing fundamentals.
  • Experience with performance testing and load testing, ensuring robust and scalable solutions.
  • Knowledge of cloud services and deployments, with a solid understanding of infrastructure-as-code principles.
  • Technical writing experience for documenting test plans and strategies, showcasing the ability to create clear, actionable content.
  • Familiarity with tools like Harness.io or Jenkins for automating testing pipelines, ensuring efficient and repeatable processes.
