We are seeking an experienced Software Engineering Team Lead with a strong background in Java and Spring Boot to join our team. This is a challenging role that requires technical leadership and expertise in building scalable and high-performance web applications.

Job Description:

The successful candidate will be responsible for leading a team of software engineers in designing, developing, deploying, and maintaining our web applications. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to identify business requirements, define technical architectures, and implement solutions.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Technical Leadership: Provide guidance and mentorship to junior engineers, ensuring they have the skills and knowledge needed to excel in their roles.
  • Architecture Design: Collaborate with stakeholders to design scalable and efficient system architectures that meet business requirements.
  • Development and Deployment: Oversee the development, testing, and deployment of web applications, ensuring they meet quality and performance standards.
  • Team Management: Lead a team of software engineers, providing feedback, coaching, and career development opportunities.

Requirements:

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field.
  • 8+ years of experience in backend development, with a focus on Java and Spring Boot.
  • Strong understanding of object-oriented programming (OOP) concepts, data structures, and exception handling.
  • Expertise in Java multi-threading, concurrency control, and synchronization.
  • Experience with database design, architecture, and management, including SQL and NoSQL databases.
  • Proven ability to apply Agile methodologies and lead technical teams through sprint planning, retrospectives, and daily standups.
  • Hands-on experience with cloud infrastructure, including deployment, scaling, and management of cloud resources.
