Our ideal candidate will possess a strong technical background and excellent analytical skills, with experience in preparing applications for deployment on Windows Operating Systems. This includes employing available setup commands/scripting as well as repackaging and customizing setup applications using tooling such as InstallShield, RayPack, etc.

The successful candidate will have thorough knowledge of the MSI and MSIX packaging frameworks, along with intermediate level knowledge of PowerShell Scripting and basic level VB scripting in support of automating application installations. Operational knowledge of the Microsoft Intune product family including Microsoft Configuration Manager, with a focus on application creation/integration and deployment, is also essential.

Responsibilities include ensuring the right packaging and delivery approach is used, depending on the application, and executing the steps of the application packaging process within SLA limits. This includes application intake, packaging, technical testing, documentation, deployment, maintenance, and resolving incidents and requests related to packages.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage and support customer environments built with Windows client operating systems, Active Directory Group Policy, Microsoft Defender, SoftwareCentral, and the Microsoft Intune product family.
  • Respond to and resolve assigned incidents in addition to implementing requests and changes, ensuring appropriate actions are taken so that none exceed their SLA or cause unforeseen business impact.

Qualifications:

  • At least 4 years of experience in preparing applications for deployment on Windows Operating Systems.
  • Thorough knowledge of the MSI and MSIX packaging frameworks.
  • Intermediate level knowledge of PowerShell Scripting and basic level VB scripting.
  • Operational knowledge of the Microsoft Intune product family.
