Job Title: Water Treatment Operations Specialist

Job Description:

This role involves the operation, maintenance, and monitoring of water treatment facilities. The ideal candidate will possess strong technical skills and be able to work effectively in a team environment.

The successful candidate will be responsible for operating, monitoring, and maintaining the DM plant, wastewater treatment facility, and its processes. This includes managing the operation of DM Plant Unit Cation, Anion, Mix Bed, and Softener, as well as maintaining the DM Plant and Reverse Osmosis systems.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Operate, monitor, and maintain the DM plant, wastewater treatment facility, and its processes.
  • Manage the operation of DM Plant Unit Cation, Anion, Mix Bed, and Softener.
  • Maintain the DM Plant and Reverse Osmosis systems.
  • Handle waste water reverse osmosis and ultra filtration.
  • Monitor parameters such as pH, TDS, TSS, COD, Total Hardness, Silica, etc.
  • Perform de-scaling of Reverse Osmosis and Ultra filtration.
  • Supervise effective maintenance of all water purifying equipment in the plant.
  • Analyze reports and communicate poor quality results to officers.
  • Maintain accurate records for process and prepare log deliveries for same.
  • DM Plant preventive maintenance.
  • Collect and test sample waters to check their quality.
  • Maintain efficient use of pumps and ensure appropriate lubrication for all machines and monitor water pressure.
  • Perform regular maintenance work on chemical feed systems and alarm signals on computer control systems.
  • Monitor operating conditions, meters, and gauges.
  • Record meter and gauge readings and operational data.
  • Clean and maintain equipment, tanks, filter beds, and other work areas.
  • Ensure safety standards are met.
