Senior Rotating Equipment Manager
">- A highly skilled technical leader is required to oversee the lifecycle management of rotating equipment from selection and installation to maintenance and decommissioning.
- The successful candidate will be responsible for driving reliability engineering initiatives to reduce downtime and improve machine availability.
- Expert technical guidance on root cause analysis (RCA) and failure investigations will also be provided.
- Strategic planning and asset management strategies for rotary equipment aligned with business objectives will be developed and implemented.
- Preventive and predictive maintenance programs using RCM (Reliability-Centered Maintenance) or CBM (Condition-Based Monitoring) techniques will be created.
- Capital expenditure (CAPEX) planning and budgeting for new equipment and upgrades will be driven.
- Operational excellence in safety, quality, and regulatory compliance for rotating machinery operations will be ensured.
- KPIs related to machine reliability, mean time between failures (MTBF), mean time to repair (MTTR), maintenance cost, and energy efficiency will be monitored.
- Troubleshooting and turnaround activities during plant shutdowns or overhauls will be led.
- Leadership of a team of mechanical, maintenance, and reliability engineers; coaching and performance management will be provided.
- Management of original equipment manufacturer (OEM) relationships, aftermarket services vendors, and third-party contractors for rotating equipment will be overseen.
- Spare parts inventory planning and vendor development will be managed.
- Evaluation and adoption of new technologies such as vibration monitoring, thermal imaging, and IoT-based condition monitoring will be evaluated.
- Promotion of energy optimization and sustainability in machinery operations will be encouraged.
Requirements:
">- Education: Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering; Master's degree preferred.
- Certifications in condition monitoring, vibration analysis, or reliability engineering are a plus.
- Experience: 15–25 years of experience in rotating equipment maintenance, engineering, or project roles.
- At least 5–7 years in a leadership or senior management role.
- Industry Background: Oil & Gas, Petrochemicals, Refineries, Power Plants, Heavy Machinery, or Process Industries.
- Skills: In-depth knowledge of rotary machine design, maintenance, and failure modes.
- Proficiency in using computerized maintenance management systems (CMMS) and condition monitoring tools.
- Strong leadership, project management, and stakeholder communication skills.
