About this Role

We are seeking an accomplished Enterprise Software Architect to lead the modernization of legacy enterprise portals and web applications.

  • Minimum 10 years of experience in designing and implementing complex software systems for large-scale enterprises.
  • At least 5 years of hands-on experience with IBM WebSphere Portal Server and JBoss Application Server.
  • Strong expertise in Struts framework and its integration with various other technologies.
  • A proven track record of successfully leading cross-functional teams and overseeing large-scale IT projects from initiation to deployment.

This role involves spearheading the transformation of legacy systems into more agile, scalable, and maintainable solutions, ensuring seamless user experiences across multiple business entities.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop strategic plans for the modernization of existing portal and application architectures.
  • Migrate Struts-based web applications to new platforms, guaranteeing compatibility and high performance.
  • Collaborate closely with architects, DevOps engineers, and infrastructure specialists to transition workloads between different hosting environments.
  • Identify and resolve complex performance issues and provide expert-level support during production incidents.
