Our organization is seeking a highly skilled and motivated individual to join our research team as a Data Scientist in Digital Pathology.

This role will involve contributing to the development and optimization of deep learning models for cancer classification and spatial mapping from digitized H&E slides.

The ideal candidate will have a PhD in Computer Science, Biomedical Engineering, Data Science, Computational Biology, or a related discipline.

The selected candidate will design, develop, and train convolutional neural networks (CNNs) and other machine learning models on H&E-stained histology images using tools such as QuPath for cell annotations, segmentation models, and dataset curation.

Precise preprocessing, annotation, and management of large image datasets are also required to support model training and validation.

Successful candidates should demonstrate collaboration with cross-disciplinary teams to integrate image-based predictions with molecular and clinical data.

A strong programming background in Python, experience with ML frameworks like TensorFlow or PyTorch, and knowledge of digital pathology workflows, image preprocessing/augmentation, and annotation tools are essential qualifications.

We welcome applicants with a demonstrated research experience in machine learning, deep learning, or biomedical image analysis.

In this position, you will work collaboratively in a multidisciplinary research environment, analyzing model performance and contributing to improving accuracy, efficiency, and robustness.

You will document your findings and contribute to publications in peer-reviewed journals.

Preferred qualifications include background in cancer histopathology or biomedical image analysis, and knowledge of multimodal data integration, including spatial transcriptomics.
