Global Credit Insurance Manager

In this role, you will be responsible for managing credit limits and insurance policies across all UK operating businesses. This includes negotiating with senior management of selected credit insurers and brokers, administering global credit insurance policies, and approving or recommending credit limit approvals.
Key Responsibilities
1. Develop and maintain systems for assessing customer creditworthiness, including financial analysis and procurement of credit agency information, market intelligence, and customer payment performance analysis.
2. Collaborate with senior credit managers to proactively manage exposure levels within approved credit limits, identifying opportunities for process improvement and developing strategies to mitigate risks.
3. Provide specialist credit advice and guidance to BU Finance and Commercial teams, working closely with other FSS managers and section leaders to deliver a consistent service across the organization.
4. Manage credit insurance policies effectively, ensuring policies are reviewed and their relevance to commercial and financial procedures is understood.
5. Lead, develop, motivate, and manage high-caliber staff to ensure adequate resource and skills are available within the team to achieve departmental goals to a high professional standard.
