Leading Physical Design Engineer

As a key member of our engineering team, you will be responsible for leading the development and implementation of complex mixed-signal System-on-Chip (SoC) designs. This involves overseeing a team of engineers and collaborating with external IP vendors to integrate blocks into the design.
Responsibilities:- Implementing complex mixed-signal SoC designs
- Guiding a team of engineers in implementing IC designs from RTL to GDS2
- Collaborating with vendors to integrate blocks into the design
- Ensuring design quality meets specified requirements
- Experience in all phases of the IC design process from RTL-GDS2
- Analog/Mixed/Custom Signal PNR experience for digital and mixed signal SoCs
- TSMC 7nm PNR sign-off experience using a full COT flow from RTL/gate to GDS
- Hierarchical Place & Route experience
- Experience in Floorplanning, clock & power network architecture and design
- UPF/CPF power intent flow – multiple supply domains
- Thorough understanding of digital design, timing analysis, and DFT
- Knowledge of FCBGA I/O ring layout
- EDA Tools: Cadence (Innovus, Voltus), Mentor (Calibre), Ansys (Redhawk, Totem)
- BTech/MTech/PhD with 5-10 years' experience in chip implementation and 3-5 years as a top-level lead
- Proven track record with multiple successful final production tape-outs at 16/14nm, 10nm, preferably 7nm
- Knowledge of and experience with embedded processors and high-speed interfaces
- Ability to contribute to and guide the development process to meet stringent industry segment requirements
