SAP Implementation Specialist

The SAP S4HANA specialist is responsible for overseeing the implementation and support of SAP Best Practices across all business process areas. This includes providing expertise in SAP functional and technical matters, including future strategy, to development teams, solution teams, and projects.

  • Leadership is provided for SAP projects, focusing on implementing new systems/software. The role works closely with project managers to ensure timely and budget-friendly project completion.

SAP Functional Expertise

  • Analysis, advisory services, specification, and complex problem-solving within the SAP area are key responsibilities. The individual leads and assists in SAP design sessions or blueprint workshops.

Key Responsibilities

  • Responsible for analyzing business process requirements, providing system solutions, and documenting customer requirements.
  • Consulting services are offered for both new implementations and existing support projects, with expertise in Business Process Re-engineering.
  • Business requirements, processes, and objectives are mapped in SAP; necessary designs, customizations, configurations, enhancements, and testing are performed.
  • Partner proposals are reviewed and validated as per business requirements, ensuring quality and completeness. Impact assessments are performed on change requests.
  • Root cause analysis is conducted for every business issue, and liaison work is done with business for troubleshooting: investigation, analysis, and resolution.
  • Improvements in business processes and/or system enhancements are proactively identified and proposed. IT policies, standards, and SOPs are ensured, including program, config & test documentation, training manuals, transport request, etc.
  • SAP trainings and user support are conducted as required, along with provision of necessary support and services in activities related to audit and management/progress meetings. An IT repository for all manuals is built.
