About the Role

This is an exciting opportunity to join our team as an Ortho Coder at White Horse Manpower Consultancy Private Limited. In this role, you will be responsible for assigning accurate E&M codes (CPT, ICD-10, HCPCS) for inpatient and outpatient services.

Your key responsibilities will include reviewing physician documentation for medical necessity and compliance, adhering to CMS, AAPC, and AHIMA guidelines, and conducting coding quality audits and error correction.

To succeed in this role, you must have excellent analytical skills and attention to detail. You should be familiar with E&M coding guidelines and have the ability to work independently with minimal supervision.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Assign accurate E&M codes (CPT, ICD-10, HCPCS) for inpatient and outpatient services.
  • Review physician documentation for medical necessity and compliance.
  • Adhere to CMS, AAPC, and AHIMA guidelines.
  • Conduct coding quality audits and error correction.


Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in any field.
  • At least 2 years of experience in medical billing and coding.
  • Familiarity with E&M coding guidelines.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
