Job Title: Mechanical Design Engineer

We seek a highly skilled Mechanical Design Engineer to develop innovative solutions for sheet metal components and assemblies.


Key Responsibilities:
  • Create detailed 2D drawings in AutoCAD and 3D models in SolidWorks for production-ready designs.
  • Design and develop fabrication drawings, bill of materials (BOM), and technical documentation for seamless manufacturing processes.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure designs meet quality standards, safety norms, and international specifications.
  • Support product development through prototyping, fitment trials, and feedback from the shop floor.
  • Manage design files, revisions, and records for future reference.

Required Skills & Qualifications:
  • Strong technical expertise in sheet metal design and fabrication processes, including laser cutting, punching, bending, welding, and finishing.
  • Proficiency in AutoCAD (2D) and SolidWorks (3D modeling, assemblies, rendering).
  • Ability to create development drawings, exploded views, and assembly drawings.
  • Understanding of tolerances, GD&T, welding symbols, and material specifications.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Effective communication skills and teamwork abilities.
