Job Overview:

  We are seeking a skilled welding expert to lead our team and drive efficiency, quality, and safety initiatives. As a Welding Engineer, you will be responsible for designing and developing welding procedures for new products and materials, selecting appropriate welding techniques, equipment, and consumables to optimize productivity and minimize defects.

  Your key tasks will include conducting weld inspections, ensuring compliance with relevant standards, investigating quality issues, and implementing corrective actions. Additionally, you will support non-destructive testing, metallurgical evaluations, and adhere to applicable codes, standards, and customer specifications.

  A strong understanding of advancements in welding technology is required, with a focus on recommending relevant upgrades. You will lead and supervise the welding team, train and qualify welders and operators, provide technical support to production teams, troubleshoot issues, and drive initiatives to improve efficiency, reduce costs, and strengthen safety practices.


Qualifications and Skills:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering
  • 7-10 years of experience in welding engineering
  • Certified Welding Engineer (AWS CWE or IWE)
  • NDT Level II certifications in RT, PT, and UT methods
