Job Description

We are seeking a seasoned engineer to lead our Developer Productivity/Platform Engineering team. As Staff Engineer, you will set the vision and execution roadmap for this team.

Our ideal candidate has 8+ years of experience in software engineering with at least 3 years in platform/dev productivity roles.

Key responsibilities include leading a small team, mentoring engineers, and driving large-scale initiatives that improve developer experience (DevEx), accelerate release cycles, and build scalable internal platforms.

  • Design and build internal tools/platforms that optimize CI/CD, testing frameworks, and infrastructure automation.
  • Drive adoption of cloud-native solutions (Kubernetes, AWS, ephemeral environments, service monitoring tools).
  • Partner with engineering leaders to align developer experience initiatives with org-wide goals & OKRs.

The successful candidate will have strong expertise in Kubernetes, AWS, CI/CD pipelines, Spinnaker/Jenkins/ArgoCD, IaC.

They will also have hands-on experience with test automation frameworks, dynamic test selection, code quality gates.

Strong coding skills in Go, Python, or Java (Go preferred for tooling/frameworks) are required.

Experience designing ephemeral environments, monitoring/observability tools is also essential.

Additionally, the ideal candidate will have a proven track record of leading small teams, mentoring engineers, and driving large-scale initiatives.

Strong communication and ability to influence cross-functional stakeholders are must-haves.

Requirements
  • 8+ years in software engineering with at least 3 years in platform/dev productivity roles.
