Job Overview:

We are seeking an accomplished firmware developer to join our organization. This role involves designing, developing, and maintaining firmware for Android-based platforms, ensuring scalability, performance, and reliability.

  • Design, develop, and maintain firmware for Android platforms
  • Work on Embedded C programming and low-level system integration
  • Develop and enhance Bootloader and OTA (Over-The-Air) update mechanisms
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams (hardware, software, QA) to deliver high-quality firmware solutions
  • Perform debugging, troubleshooting, and optimization for embedded systems
  • Ensure security, performance, and reliability of firmware releases

Key Qualifications:

  • 5-7 years of proven experience in firmware development
  • Strong expertise in Embedded C programming, Linux Kernel, Drivers, and OTA mechanisms, Bootloader development and debugging
  • Hands-on experience with embedded platforms and system bring-up
  • Familiarity with version control systems (Git) and CI/CD workflows
  • Strong debugging and problem-solving skills in embedded environments

Preferred Skills:

  • Experience with Android HAL layers and system services
  • Exposure to real-time operating systems (RTOS)
  • Knowledge of security concepts in firmware development
