Job Description:

As a Korean Language Expert, you will play a crucial part in developing AI models that accurately comprehend and generate high-quality content in the Korean language. This role requires someone with exceptional linguistic skills to craft engaging written responses, evaluate human- and AI-generated text, and contribute to projects that advance AI's understanding of culture and language.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop accurate, contextual, and compelling written responses in Korean for various prompts.
  • Evaluate and review human- and AI-generated content for accuracy, tone, clarity, safety, and cultural alignment.
  • Provide detailed linguistic assessments, focusing on style, nuance, bias, clarity, and intent.
  • Conduct peer reviews to ensure consistency and quality across linguistic contributions.
  • Design creative content such as prompts, scenarios, games, and thought experiments to test and challenge AI capabilities.
  • Explore cultural aspects of Korean language use, including idioms, humor, irony, and traditions.

Qualifications:

  • Native or near-native proficiency in Korean with excellent grammar, spelling, and punctuation.
  • Strong English-language communication skills.
  • Demonstrated expertise in Korean writing, editing, or content creation with command over tone, style, and genre.
  • In-depth knowledge of Korean culture, idioms, humor, and societal nuances.
  • Experience in linguistics, translation, teaching, or language-related projects is preferred.
  • Ability to analyze and refine text for clarity, engagement, and accuracy.
  • Willingness to complete a Korean writing skills assessment during the selection process.
