Enterprise Portal Architect

We are seeking a seasoned Enterprise Portal Architect with expertise in IBM WebSphere Portal Server, JBoss Application Server, and Struts framework.

  • 10+ years of experience in enterprise application development and platform support.
  • 5+ years of hands-on experience with IBM WebSphere Portal Server.
  • Strong experience with JBoss Application Server and Struts Framework.
  • Proven leadership in managing full-stack teams and delivering legacy modernization or platform decoupling initiatives.

The role involves leading the technical planning, design, and execution of web portal and application separation activities, ensuring clean separation of functionality, security, and user experience across business entities.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement strategic plans for migrating and refactoring legacy applications to ensure compatibility and scalability in new deployment environments.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to transition workloads from shared to entity-specific hosting and manage deployment and configuration of WebSphere and JBoss across multiple environments.
  • Lead troubleshooting efforts and provide hands-on support in resolving production incidents, ensuring secure, role-based access control, data partitioning, and user experience continuity during and after separation.
  • Guide offshore/onshore development teams and enforce coding and platform standards to ensure high-quality solutions.
