About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Global Software Architect to join our team at SAP. This role involves working on various aspects of agile software development, including design, implementation, deployment, and defect fixing.

As a key member of our engineering scrum teams, you will be responsible for building highly scalable distributed solutions that enable positive user experiences and measurable business growth. Your primary focus will be on working across the full stack, developing new features and infrastructure in support of rapidly emerging business and project requirements.

You will work closely with inspiring designers and front-end engineers, as well as collaborating with leading back-end engineers to create reliable features and APIs. We deliver and operate our application on the SAP Business Technology Platform, utilizing the latest concepts and technologies of microservice architecture, continuous delivery, security, and Development Operations.

Your Responsibilities

  • Design, implement, and deploy software solutions using Java, SAP UI5, Microservices, JavaScript, and other relevant technologies.
  • Work closely with cross-functional teams to develop new features and infrastructure in support of rapidly emerging business and project requirements.
  • Collaborate with front-end engineers to create visually appealing and user-friendly interfaces.
  • Engage with back-end engineers to develop robust and scalable APIs.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
  • Expert knowledge of Java, SQL, Any UI framework, JavaScript, Spring Boot, Microservices methodologies, Design Patterns, Cloud Native Application Development methodologies.
  • Working knowledge of Git, Docker, Kubernetes, Azure Pipelines, and cloud platforms like GCP, Azure, or AWS.
  • High commitment to quality, reliability, and self-motivating style of working.
  • Good analytical and communication skills, along with a willingness to continuously learn.
