AI/ML Development Lead

As an AI/ML Development Lead, you will play a pivotal role in developing cutting-edge AI-native software that amplifies creativity and productivity for teams and enterprises.

This position is ideal for individuals passionate about leveraging machine learning to create innovative solutions.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Develop AI-enabled products fully empowered by Large Language Models (LLMs) and recent advancements in foundation models. Stay up-to-date with emerging techniques and incorporate them into our production systems.
  • Create high-performance Search and Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG): data indexing, ranking, and query processing
  • Establish evaluation frameworks for agent, RAG, and LLM performance: We adopt a polyglot approach to working with LLMs, prioritizing workloads on open-source models.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • 2-5 years of experience in Software Engineering or end-to-end Data Science. Proficient in Python and data-oriented algorithms.
  • Strong background in either distributed data systems or machine learning engineering. Experience with distributed computing frameworks like Ray is highly valued.
  • Proven ability to experiment with new techniques and deliver robust production code. We primarily work in Python and are expanding our RAG stack using LlamaIndex and LangChain. Other technologies include; Ray, Postgres, Iceberg, Google Cloud, Docker/Kubernetes/Helm
  • Recent demonstrated experience in (and enthusiasm for) building agents, training, and evaluating emerging foundation LLMs, constructing RAG systems, and large-scale information retrieval systems, or working with vector databases. We encourage applicants to share their projects.
