About the Role

The Chapter

You will join the Product Development, Integration and Engineering Chapter, a global team of technical profiles, including Cloud DevOps Engineers, located around the world who are involved in various projects for all Roche divisions.

The Product Line

The DevSecOps Enablement Product Line has been established to support the software development lifecycle across Roche with an experienced team and a tools library that allow Roche Product Teams to leverage industry best practices and Roche's enterprise platforms for their DevSecOps needs.

Key Responsibilities

  • Be a hands-on technical expert on the DevSecOps Enablement tools
  • Provide technical advice to other team members
  • Support Product and Application teams in deploying and using DevSecOps Enablement tooling
  • Lead training and demo sessions with Lifecycle or Application Teams and stakeholder groups
  • Support agile tool usage, best practices, and process adherence
  • Work with agile teams to build automation, integrations, and to drive continuous improvement for systems and tools
  • Support maintenance of dependencies and roadmap(s), and provide regular updates
  • Support maintenance of DevSecOps Enablement workbooks and process documentation

About Collaboration

  • Demonstrate excellent communication skills
  • Collaborate with external offshore vendors team to increase the value delivery
  • Occasionally collaborate with vendors like Mend, SonarQube, Github, or GitLab to renew or procure the licenses, support etc.
  • Collaborate with PSPO teams and Security Domain

About Alignment with DevSecOps Enablement strategy

  • Understand and document the DevSecOps Enablement leadership's vision and requirements
  • Maintain relationships with the appropriate customer Product Teams and stakeholders to understand their needs and requirements
  • Help identify the gaps in toolset needs from the customer Product Team to what DevSecOps Enablement offers
  • Support the definition of the vision for the DevSecOps Enablement operating model and toolset service model
  • Maintain a development, process, and strategy backlog a formal backlog in JIRA) to achieve the DevSecOps Enablement vision
  • Support delivery of the agreed-upon vision

Working in an Agile Model

You will work in an agile, capacity-based model to continually prioritize project needs using traditional agile sprint reviews with Roche's DevSecOps Enablement leadership, to review progress and align on upcoming priorities.
