Key Responsibilities for Azure Data Engineer

A skilled and experienced professional is required to design, develop, and deploy data pipelines and integrations using Azure Data Services. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in Azure Synapse Analytics, Power BI, SQL Server, and Azure Data Factory (ADF).

The successful candidate will troubleshoot and resolve issues related to performance optimization, query tuning, and data pipeline support. They will also be responsible for report and dashboard development, data modeling, and maintenance of existing reports using Power BI.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Troubleshooting & issue resolution for Azure Synapse Analytics
  • Performance optimization & query tuning for Azure Synapse Analytics
  • Data pipeline & integration support for Azure Data Factory (ADF)
  • Report & dashboard development for Power BI
  • Data modeling & optimization for Power BI
  • Maintenance of existing reports for Power BI
  • Database support & maintenance for SQL Server
  • Query optimization & performance tuning for SQL Server
  • Data migration & integration for SQL Server

Requirements:

  • Strong expertise in Azure Data Services (Synapse, ADF, SQL, Power BI)
  • Proven experience in troubleshooting & performance optimization
  • Immediate availability (0-day notice period preferred)

Preferred Skills and Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field
  • Relevant work experience in data engineering and analytics
  • Familiarity with UAE working hours and emergency support requirements
