Job Role:

The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing a team of 5-6 members and delivering high-quality risk assessments of individual accounts or portfolios based on provided information.

• Manage a team of professionals
• Provide comprehensive risk evaluations of individual accounts or portfolios
• Understand location-specific data and prioritize high-value and high-risk locations
• Format, clean and organize data for modeling purposes
• Develop and maintain exposure databases and assess their completeness and accuracy
• Support underwriters with queries and exposure movement year-over-year
• Contribute innovative ideas for process enhancement and improvement
• Interpret model results and provide risk-specific insights to underwriters

Required Skills:

• At least 6 years' experience in cat modelling/treaty modelling, preferably with insurance/reinsurance background
• Familiarity with AIR touchstone, SQL, MS office proficiency
• Strong analytical skills
• Foundation-level Excel manipulation and functions
• Effective problem-solving skills
• Insurance certification/project experience
• Advanced Excel/VBA programming language
• Leadership and team management abilities
