Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain large-scale Java applications with a focus on scalability and performance.
- Write clean, well-structured code adhering to best practices and standards.
- Collaborate closely with stakeholders to understand requirements and deliver solutions that meet their needs.
- Design and implement backend services, APIs, and microservices architecture to support our business objectives.
- Perform debugging, testing, and performance tuning for new and existing systems to ensure they meet our quality standards.
- Ensure high-level security and responsiveness of applications to protect our users' data and provide an excellent user experience.
- Participate in code reviews and contribute to continuous improvements in development standards and processes to maintain our competitive edge.

Technical Skills Required:
- Proficient in Java and J2EE with strong experience in Java Streams, JPA, and Collections.
- Familiarity with Docker and container orchestration tools for efficient deployment and management of applications.
- Experience with GIT for version control and collaboration within the team.
- Knowledge of AWS services, specifically CodeCommit, ECS, Load Balancer, CloudWatch, and S3, for efficient deployment and management of applications.
- Solid understanding of Spring MVC, Spring Boot, and Hibernate for building robust and scalable applications.
- Experience in developing RESTful services to support front-end and mobile applications.
- Familiarity with both MongoDB and MySQL databases for efficient data processing and storage.
- Understanding of Spring WebFlux and reactive programming principles for building high-performance applications.
- Knowledge of Kafka for message brokering and real-time data streaming.

Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.

Salary Range:
$120,000 - $180,000 per year depending on experience and qualifications.

Location:
This position is open to remote work. However, regular meetings and collaborations with the team will require occasional travel to our office.
