Key Responsibilities:

  • Spearhead global DevOps infrastructure projects, focusing on containers, cloud-native, and microservices architecture to drive efficiency
  • Design, deploy, and automate solutions for monitoring, reporting, and analysis
  • Optimize the continuous integration, delivery, and deployment pipeline for streamlined processes
  • Implement industry best practices for system hardening and configuration management
  • Manage virtual environments, ensuring secure, scalable, and efficient operations
  • Develop and maintain solutions for operational administration, backup, disaster recovery, and security/performance monitoring across different environments
  • Create secure automation solutions for development, testing, and production environments
  • Evaluate, refactor, and iterate existing systems, adhering to industry standards, and make recommendations for improvement with best practices
  • Facilitate knowledge sharing throughout cross-functional teams, including IT and Engineering
  • Collaborate in shaping the DevOps vision and roadmap

Required Skills:

  • Expert-level proficiency in continuous delivery and deployment methodologies
  • Deep understanding of cloud-native technologies, particularly Azure and AWS cloud, with expertise in IaaS, PaaS services, and HA/DR technologies
  • Strong knowledge of IAM solutions, AAD/LDAP, Networking DNS, Firewall, Gateway, Load Balancers, and storage
  • Experience with Containers, Kubernetes (managed and OS), ingress, Service mesh (Istio, Linkerd), Envoy, and Yaml
  • Proficiency in programming/scripting languages Java, Go, Python, shell, groovy, and familiarity with DSLs like Yaml
  • Familiarity with RDBMS Oracle, SQL Server, Azure SQL, PostgreSQL is desirable
  • Proficiency with SCCM, viz. Git, Gitlab, Bitbucket expected
  • Experience in building and managing CI/CD Pipelines via Jenkins, Spinnaker, Azure DevOps, Gitlab, Tekton
  • Build Config Management and deployment tooling viz SaltStack/Ansible, Helm, Terraform, ARM, AWS CloudFormation
  • Experience in Logging/Monitoring/Insights: Zabbix, Prometheus, Grafana, ELK, Splunk, Azure Monitoring
  • Awareness of progressive deployment and serverless DevOps highly desirable
