Automation Specialist Opportunity

Job Overview

We are seeking an experienced Automation Specialist to join our organization. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in software testing and automation, with a focus on developing high-quality test automation solutions.

  • Design and develop automated regression suites and test harnesses that meet organizational standards.
  • Identify areas/test cases for automation and design/implement test automation strategies.
  • Develop tools and frameworks with quality code to simplify testing scenarios.
  • Collaborate with development teams to deliver business functionality on time with required quality.
  • Act as a test lead, planning work for other testing staff and assigning tasks to meet project deadlines.
  • Design and develop test cases and test automation suites using Python.
  • Provide guidance and assistance to project staff on testing activities.
  • Review and approve the work of project team members in writing scripts, expected results, test results, and defect descriptions.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you must have:

  • 6+ years of experience as an Automation QA Tester.
  • Excellent understanding of QA and testing methodologies, best practices.
  • Strong skills in Python for test automation.
  • Experience working with SOAP and REST services and understanding of SOA architecture.
  • Experience creating and maintaining automation frameworks preferred.
  • Experience using SQL to query databases required.
  • Exposure to distributed source control systems such as Git.
  • Experience with test data management techniques.
  • Experience with change management and defect tracking tools.
  • Strong English proficiency level (B2) is required.
Preferred Education

A Bachelor's degree in a technology-related field is highly desirable.
