Job Title: Insurance Risk Manager

About the Role

The successful candidate will be responsible for providing specialist risk–management solutions to businesses across diverse sectors and markets.

  • Needs Analysis and Client Management: Identifying insurance needs of clients, understanding their risk profiles, and providing tailored insurance solutions.
  • Proposal and Quotation Management: Preparing and submitting proposals to insurance companies, negotiating terms, and ensuring best possible coverage and pricing for clients.
  • Policy Placement and Management: Placing insurance policies with insurers, managing policy renewals, and ensuring compliance with relevant regulations and guidelines.
  • Claims Management: Assisting clients with the claims process, including documentation, negotiation, and settlement of claims.
  • Regulatory Compliance: Staying informed about and adhering to all relevant regulations and guidelines related to insurance broking and government contracts.
  • Relationship Building: Building and maintaining strong relationships with officials, stakeholders, and insurance providers.

The ideal candidate will possess a minimum graduate degree, preferably an MBA, and have at least 5+ years of experience from the insurance industry. They will also have experience connecting with top-level management or decision makers of large corporates, generating revenue individually and with the team, team handling experience, and product knowledge in non-employee benefits.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Identify client risk profiles and provide tailored insurance solutions.
  • Prepare and submit proposals to insurance companies, negotiate terms, and ensure best possible coverage and pricing.
  • Manage policy placements, renewals, and compliance with regulations and guidelines.
  • Assist clients with the claims process, including documentation, negotiation, and settlement of claims.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with officials, stakeholders, and insurance providers.

Requirements:

  • Graduate degree (MBA preferred).
  • At least 5+ years of experience in the insurance industry.
  • Experience connecting with top-level management or decision makers of large corporates.
  • Revenue generation individually and with the team.
  • Team handling experience.
  • Product knowledge in non-employee benefits.
