Job Title:
Mechanical Design Engineer for Next-Generation Product Development

ZOOM Communications, a leading provider of Live Broadcast Services in South Asia, seeks an experienced and highly motivated Mechanical Design Engineer to join our innovation-driven team. We are looking for someone who is passionate about creating innovative, efficient, and manufacturable mechanical solutions for high-performance applications.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Design and develop complex mechanical components and assemblies for high-reliability products.
  • Create precise 3D CAD models and detailed technical drawings using SolidWorks or equivalent tools.
  • Collaborate closely with prototyping efforts using various methods, including CNC machining and 3D printing.
  • Select appropriate materials and manufacturing processes to meet mechanical requirements.
  • Perform tolerance analysis and stress analysis to ensure mechanical robustness.
  • Collaborate with electronics and software engineering teams for seamless integration.
  • Oversee testing and validation of mechanical components and systems.

Technical Skills:
  • Proficiency in 3D CAD modeling and drafting using SolidWorks (CSWP certification preferred).
  • Strong expertise in mechanical enclosure design and hands-on experience with prototyping techniques.
  • In-depth understanding of material selection and mechanical design calculations.
  • Familiarity with GD&T and technical drawing standards.
  • Experience in preparing BOMs and assembly drawings.

Soft Skills:
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving mindset.
  • Creativity and innovation in developing robust mechanical solutions.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
  • High attention to detail in 3D modeling and documentation.

Educational Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or a closely related field.
  • Minimum of 2–3 years of relevant industry experience.
