Job Overview:

A Risk Analyst will be responsible for evaluating business risks and developing customized insurance solutions.

  • Evaluate business risks associated with businesses and recommend appropriate policy covers.
  • Customize policies by adding or removing covers, riders, or endorsements based on client requirements.
  • Coordinate with underwriters at various insurance companies to obtain quotes and underwriting decisions.
  • Follow up for approvals, reinsurance support (if required), and final underwriting clearance.
  • Verify all required documents from clients (KYC, proposal forms, declarations, etc.) and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
  • Stay updated on underwriting norms, product circulars, and compliance requirements to provide accurate guidance to clients.
  • Explain underwriting requirements, terms, exclusions, and conditions to clients in a clear and concise manner.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Evaluate business risks and identify potential areas of concern.
  2. Develop and implement customized policy solutions to meet client needs.
  3. Collaborate with underwriters and other stakeholders to ensure timely and accurate decision-making.
  4. Communicate effectively with clients and internal stakeholders to resolve queries and concerns.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Insurance, Risk Management, or related field.
  • 3+ years of experience in underwriting or a related field.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines.
