Job Overview

A Cloud Security Specialist is required to design and implement a robust security framework for our cloud infrastructure. The ideal candidate will have expertise in securing cloud environments, identifying vulnerabilities, and mitigating threats.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Security Assessments: Conduct thorough security assessments of our infrastructure to identify potential weaknesses and gaps in security protocols.
  • Cloud Security Architecture: Design and implement secure cloud architecture, including VPCs, security groups, IAM roles, and access controls.
  • Incident Response: Develop and maintain incident response plans to quickly respond to security incidents and minimize downtime.
  • Compliance and Risk Management: Ensure compliance with relevant regulations and standards, such as HIPAA and PCI-DSS, and develop strategies to manage risk and mitigate threats.
Required Skills and Qualifications

Experience: 5+ years of experience in cloud security, with a focus on AWS Cloud.

Education: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Security, or a related field. Equivalent work experience may be considered.

Skills:

  • Strong knowledge of security principles, best practices, and common vulnerabilities (e.g., OWASP Top 10).
  • Experience with Wiz, Prisma Cloud, Jira, Confluence & Terraform / CloudFormation (Infrastructure as a code).
  • Familiarity with SAST, DAST, Fuzzing, and other tools.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Automation experience with AWS.
  • Relevant certifications such as AWS Certified Security - Specialty, CISSP, CEH are highly desirable.
