Job Summary

We are seeking a seasoned Automation Engineer to design, develop and maintain automation frameworks for web and API testing.

  • Our ideal candidate will have experience in building robust automation solutions, working in Agile teams and using tools like Jira for test management and defect tracking.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Automation Framework Development: Design, develop and maintain automation test frameworks using C# and Selenium WebDriver.
  • Automated Testing: Write and execute automated test scripts for web, API and regression testing.
  • Front-end Validations: Develop JavaScript-based automation scripts where required for front-end validations.
  • CICD Integration: Integrate test automation into CI/CD pipelines for continuous testing.
  • Collaboration: Collaborate with developers, product owners and QA team members to ensure high-quality releases.
  • Defect Management: Perform defect management, tracking and reporting using Jira.
  • Test Case Creation: Create detailed test cases, test data and documentation for automation coverage.
  • Automation Strategy: Identify test automation opportunities and contribute to automation strategy and roadmap.
  • Code Review: Ensure test scripts are reliable, maintainable and reusable.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or related field.
  • 5+ years of experience in software testing with a focus on test automation.
  • Strong programming skills in C#.
  • Hands-on experience with Selenium WebDriver for UI test automation.
  • Working knowledge of JavaScript for automation scripting and front-end testing.
  • Experience with Jira for defect tracking and Agile project management.
  • Understanding of SDLC, STLC, Agile/Scrum methodologies.
  • Good knowledge of API testing (REST/Soap) and tools like Postman or RestSharp (C# libraries).
  • Experience integrating automated tests with CI/CD pipelines (Azure DevOps, Jenkins, GitHub Actions, etc.).
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving and debugging skills.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration abilities.
